I want to introduce you to two of the most amazing
women I know–who also happen to be two of the
most spiritually advanced human beings I know.
And don’t worry, it won’t cost you anything to “meet” them.

I have been lucky enough to meet and spend time with
most of the top spiritual and personal growth teachers in
the world. Diane Hamilton and Sofia Diaz are at the top
of the top, two people that I hugely admire.
I mean it–these two are on my short list of “I want to be
like you when I grow up.”
Many of you know about my relationship with Zen
master Genpo Roshi (also at the top of that list). Diane
is a Zen successor to Genpo Roshi, which means he has
given her his stamp of approval as a teacher.
Only a small handful of people around a Zen teacher attain
this level of accomplishment, and Di is one of them. It is
recognition, from a Master, of Di’s own spiritual
awakening–and her ability to help others awaken.
Genpo Roshi also considers Di to be the top facilitator
of his absolutely mind-blowing process, Big Mind,
which allows you to experience yourself as the
transcendent–in other words, One with the universe–in
just hours, rather than after twenty years of spiritual practice.
Di is also one of the most respected of the Integral
Spiritual Center teachers gathered around the great
Ken Wilber (and considering who these people are,
that says a lot).
I have seen Di work with people several times, and
she is amazing–the real deal. She created an incredible
transformation in Denise, my wife, in a short twenty-minute
conversation. I don’t know what she did, but it sure did
create a deep change.
Sofia Diaz is equally amazing. She has similar spiritual
credentials, having spent time in India and Nepal with
awakened teachers. Among other things, she is a
master of Hatha Yoga (and by this I do not mean the
kind of yoga you do at the spa or at the corner yoga
studio–this is the Hatha Yoga practiced by masters in
India, creating huge physical shifts that lead to profound
mental, emotional and spiritual awakenings).
She has also studied Tibetan Buddhism, Tantra, and
several other traditions. She has been around the
spiritual block several times.
And, Sofia, like Di, is also one of the most highly
respected teachers around Ken Wilber.
The best thing about these two amazing women is their
understanding of the issues that confront spiritually-oriented
women in the twenty-first century, and how the path to
awakening is different for women than it is for men.
I really want you to meet these women, partly because
as a woman interested in spiritual awakening you need to
know who they are, and partly because you just might
want to take advantage of some of the events and programs
they offer (there will be some information about that in this
conversation).
